Energy supply

Apart from traditional energy generation in major power plants (coal, nuclear, hydro), peaking power stations – e.g. gas turbine power stations – and local as well as regional energy generation systems such as biogas systems and wind power plants, it is particularly the generation of renewable energy that is of central importance for the electricity and heat generation of the future, worldwide. Pressure and temperature metrology, both as an element of control engineering with pressure sensors and temperature sensors as well as in form of the conventional and always reliable measurement with dial instruments independent of energy supply is applied in many different areas in this sector.
